My heart is happy. Watching kids excitedly run to our house. Tell me that they come every year and it’s their favorite house. Hold books up to their chest and say that we always have what they want. Being able to give out books written by friends.😭💗 #Halloween2022

And it's always a good idea to alternate between presenting information and having students do something with the information. This allows you to hold attention and check for understanding so you can re-explain if needed. Do this at a perky pace. 7/

@MoniseLSeward@JustLB Measurement tends to be the last unit of the year and is squeezed in before testing so I wouldn’t be surprised if rulers aren’t used by teachers. Also so many textbooks just have pictures of rulers that students identify instead of the real thing.
@TheWeirdTeacher @GotMathHelp @Sneffleupagus At 5th grade level I thinks it’s really useful as many kids get stuck on basic multiplication facts when we’re trying to teach multi-step processes to solve multi-digit x. It’s a tool and helps them move forward while they continue learning basic facts.
