Legislation only for limited reasons reinforces the false dichotomy that there are 'good' & 'bad' abortions. Restrictions in legislation,and criminalisation,send a chill through the medical profession. Look at the recent Coombe hospital refusal&reduction in legal abortion in NI.

While we welcome recommendations from @NIHRC shared at the @EqualityCommNI #CEDAW event, and that reform is a key priority, unfortunately they fall far short of #freesafelegal & local abortion access. Abortion must be decriminalised&available for everyone who wants or needs one.
