Building on the excellent first box-set, Big Finish’s second series takes place between the first and second TV series.

In doing so, it addresses an issue with the TV show: the departure of @carolynseymour_’s Abby Grant at the end of the first TV series, the stand-out character from that first run, as Big Finish continues Abby’s search for her son, Peter.

With occasional returns to the Grange, the setting of the second half of the first TV series, this second box-set turns up the action and the horror - #BernardHolley is particularly nasty as ‘butcher’ George Ridley. This is not a box-set for those of a nervous disposition…

Excellent guest appearances from @JaneSlavin, @TimTreloar99, @timbentinck and the addition of a new regular, @MsFionaSheehan’s Molly, underpin the quality of four episodes that again deploy Terry Nation’s original vision to maximum effect.

The writing remains extraordinarily strong, with scripts by @mattief, @kenbentley and (an excellent all female episode from) @Lou_Jameson

So, again, kudos to all involved, including #DavidRichardson, @BriggsNicholas, @Flemingelf, #IanMcCulloch & @JohnBanks13act.

Every time I watch #dragonsden I’m reminded of the time I was working in an antiques shop, and Deborah Meaden came in and asked me to email her details of a particular piece. She gave me her name as “Deborah, with an ‘h’”, and I couldn’t for the life of me think where the H went.
