The thief comes only to steal & kill & destroy, but I have come that you might have life, & life abundantly. John 10:10. LORD, the difference could not be more clear: You are the light of the world. You are the hope of the world, and Your promises to us are trustworthy & true.🙏🏻
Jesus' tomb is empty, THE throne is occupied, and the earth will be filled with God's glory. Three sufficient reasons for our fears to shrink, our peace to increase, and our "to do list" to become a "to love list."
The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD is enthroned as King forever… The LORD blesses his people with peace. Ps.29:10-11. Better to have Jesus in the “floods” of life than no floods & no Jesus. But I crave the Day of all Jesus and no floods. Grateful 4 his peace.
I pray that out of His glorious riches He will strengthen you with power through His spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Eph.3:16–17. This is my prayer for my friends throughout the world who share our love of the Father & His son.
Jesus, for this one day in September, grant us grace to be less self-referential, less easy-to-offend, less likely to assume the worst. Increase our amazement, joy, and peace from being completely known and extravagantly loved by you.
5 glorious words by which to live—saw, compassion, ran, embraced, kissed. “His father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.” (Luke 15:20). Because of Jesus, this is how our Father relates to each of us, all the time. Hallelujah!
“I pray enlightenment for your heart-eyes...” Eph. 1:18. Yes, Jesus, heal our seeing. Flood our hearts with the light of the Gospel. Let us see you as you truly are. Dazzle us with your beauty. Remove our cataracts, astigmatism, myopia. Seeing you will free us 2 see all else well
Jesus, “my soul thirsts for you; my whole-body longs for you” (Ps.63:1). Friends, below the surface of our anguish and anger, our disappointment with people and disillusionment with life, is an unrelenting thirst 4 Jesus. He loudly calls us to come to him right now. John 7:37-39
