Grafflin 2nd graders in Ms. McCarthy’s class used their time and money skills to plan and run their own talent show. They created schedules, made posters, "sold" tickets and put on a variety show with singing, dancing, magic tricks and more! #WeAreChappaqua @CoachSpillane

☀️ Ms. McCarthy’s 2nd graders took their measurement and data work into the Grafflin garden.

Students measured plants, flowers and other objects, recorded their findings and then created bar graphs and line plots to present their results.

Ms. McCarthy’s 2nd graders at Grafflin published their informational chapter books! Students chose topics they know and care about, organized facts into chapters, used expert vocabulary, created glossaries and shared them with their classmates.

Our first writing celebration was a success! After lots of hard work and successfully “publishing” our favorite small moment stories, we were able to share and celebrate our work with one another! #wearechappaqua

1Mc visited the Makerspace for Maker Month at Grafflin! We listened to “Our Favorite Day of The Year” and then used the Think, Make, Reflect strategy to create a representation of days that are meaningful to us. Thanks! @KaitlinALester #wearechappaqua
