@HaydenTeaches@tyLanasaurusrex @MrLostetter Hi Hayden! I think you’re right that having students of all abilities will benefit everyone. It’s important for students to meet people of different abilities, as they’ll be meeting people different than them for their entire life. #PSTPLN#CEP416
@Florenc15342656@tyLanasaurusrex Hi Florence! I think finding an open minded district is a great idea. Especially as fresh graduates, the teaching strategies we are learning may be very different than the way other teachers are teaching. #PSTPLN#CEP416
A5: I hope to work in a school district that has plenty of support for the teachers there. I also would like a diverse population among both the students and teachers. #PSTPLN#CEP416
@GreenhoeKailin Hey Kailin! I had never heard of Glogster, so I just looked it up and it looks so cool! I’m definitely going to be using this in my future classroom, and I’m excited to look more into it. #PSTPLN#CEP416
@BlackieKarissa@tyLanasaurusrex I’ve never heard of this website before, but I’m really excited to look at it now! This sounds like an awesome idea for classrooms. Students definitely need breaks to get their energy out. #PSTPLN#CEP416
A4: I absolutely love using Instagram and Pinterest to look for lesson plans. I’ve found such creative ideas on them. I also really like Kahoot, it’s a quick and easy way to get the whole class involved for a little bit, and I always find it fun. #PSTPLN#CEP416
@Florenc15342656@tyLanasaurusrex I think having students create presentations is a great way to practice problem solving. And it’s totally true that students will have to deal with obstacles at some point to succeed. #PSTPLN#CEP416
A3: Problem solving is a valuable skill that students will continue to use forever. It is needed for all subjects. Technology can help students look for more solutions. Or there are plenty of programs that students can use online to work on problem solving. #PSTPLN#CEP416
@alyssavndrnk I think reaching out to alumni is a fantastic idea. I’ve personally talked to recent grads and they’re always happy to help and give me advice, especially since not long ago they were in my shoes. They understand the importance of starting to build a network. #PSTPLN#CEP416
@laura_egger Hi Laura! I think looking at who the people you already are following follow is a great idea. It’s a great way to find people with similar interests/thoughts to what you’re already looking at, but maybe from a different perspective. #PSTPLN#CEP416
A2: To build your network you have to put yourself out there! Attend work events, conferences, respond to people who are asking questions, and don’t be afraid to ask questions online yourself. There are so many different forms of social media you can use. #PSTPLN#CEP416
@OmillianL Hi Alyse! I think collaborating with colleagues is a fantastic way to meet the needs of your students. It’s always helpful to gain another perspective, and they may have more experience teaching students with certain needs. #PSTPLN#cep416
@caramw435@tyLanasaurusrex Hi Cara! I think giving students a choice between two assignments is a wonderful idea. Giving students a choice and control over what they are doing in the class can help motivation and make them feel more comfortable in their ability to succeed. #PSTPLN#cep416
A1: I think it is incredibly important to realize each of your students are going to learn differently. You need to take the time to get to know them individually so you can learn and work with them to find out what works best for them in the classroom. #PSTPLN#cep416
