Donโt quit your job because you want to learn Cybersecurity. Not everyone who starts a career in this field gets a job immediately. Cybersecurity is not a get-rich-quick scheme. it takes time, consistency, and effort to break in.
Hello Cyber friends, today is a good day to tell someone about my company, CybariK Limited. Please recommend us for Cybersecurity opportunities ๐๐พ
Today is a big day for me. Few weeks ago, we secured a UK project. Today, we are completing the project and the client is happy with our work. Thank you Lord for keeping things running smoothly ๐๐พ
This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it ๐งก๐ฅ
Happy birthday Dr Iretioluwa. If you come across this post, kindly say a prayer for me ๐๐๐๐๐๐
The time is coming when my company, Cybarik Limited will be able to offer visa sponsorship. I am manifesting it. It will happen โin a few yearsโ timeโ ๐๐พ
We are thrilled to announce our partnership with @ISC2 to support their initiative of offering one million free Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) certifications.
This incredible opportunity will empower individuals with the essential cybersecurity skills needed...
To think that when I started this cloud journey, it all looked like gibberish ๐ญ. Time and consistency have made it much clearer. For my first project, I spent 8 hours solving it without a break, and I canโt believe Iโm doing the same project today in 20 minutes๐ญ๐. What you donโt know is truly beyond you. And for the sake of knowledge, I will keep sacrificing my fears!
I just reviewed a Nigerian Universityโs BSc Cybersecurity Curriculum.
All I can say is, now I understand why employers canโt just hire you when you graduate.
Please be smart, do yourself a favour and self-learn, join a community or pay for bootcamps to upskill & become employable. ๐
They are still on your phone. I managed to get my first date I went to in 2016 December just last week when I performed forensics on my personal iPhone 12 Pro. ๐๐. I was using Nokia as at that time. Your SIM card keeps part of your information as it has your IMSI.
Information are still stored after deletion , but the phone doesn't know where or what it is. If the phone hasn't overwritten the deleted data, another piece of software could find it. Identifying and decoding it isn't always easy, but the forensic community has extremely powerful tools that help them with this process.
Thank you Jesus for Everything.
As Amazon, Google, Disney and all the big firm started as home offices; grant me the strength Lord to do exploit with the little I have๐ค.
This my Home Office; the place I do everything cybersecurity ๐ป ๐ค๐ฝ
My coding duckie and I have some news to share with yโall!
I GOT THE JOB!!! WOOOOOOOO ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐ชฉ๐คฉ๐๐๐๐ฅณ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ป๐ฅโจ๐ฅ๐พ
My first real job as a programmer! I canโt believe I did it! I actually did it! ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
And thank YOU all for sticking with me on this journey โค๏ธ
An average security analyst must filter thousands of alerts to prevent a cyberattack. Understandably, the excessive calls cause โalert fatigue,โ forcing security teams to miss relevant events. That explains why nearly 8 in 10 security analysts worry about missing essential incidents because they're buried under a sea of alerts.
Investing in the right cybersecurity analytic tool is a surefire way to filter alerts and improve security posture. In this sense, Extended Detection and Response (XDR) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) are tools every security analyst must have in their arsenal.
XDR aggregates data from servers, endpoints, cloud workloads, and networks for comprehensive visibility and analysis. Similarly, SIEM provides data aggregation, consolidation, and sorting functions for threat identification and adherence to relevant compliance checks.
Besides installing XDR and SIEM tools, security teams must understand how and when to use them. Thatโs why every security professional must read Secureworksโ โXDR vs SIEM: A Cybersecurity Leader's Guideโ. The 9-page exposรฉ reveals the following:
The differences between XDR and SIEM and their best use cases.
How XDR and SIEM improves an organisationโs security.
The importance of choosing the right tools.
