It's 150 days since Breonna Taylor was murdered. Too often Black women who die from police violence are forgotten. Stay loud, demand justice—and SAY HER NAME. This tee is made in partnership with the Breonna Taylor Foundation to whom all profits are given. https://t.co/pqPaHM59dQ
I was taking care of a patient the other day who was very seriously injured. And I stepped out to talk to his family briefly and give them an update. For context, he was Black. I told them what was going on quickly and asked if they had any questions. And this is what they said.

We're 100 days away from Election Day and there is too much at stake to sit this one out. Now's a good time to make sure you're registered to vote––and to make sure your friends and family are, too. https://t.co/XdZz4dh82T
#HonorJohnLewis by registering to vote, signing up to become a poll worker, urging your senators to pass critical election integrity and voting rights bills, and making sure you're #PreparedtoVote. https://t.co/laAprlnWcb
So true. What's pernicious, too, is that racist ideas—particularly as they're packaged and disseminated online—make people who embrace them believe that they are thinkers. A pitch of the hate movement is, 'if you join us, you're not a sheep' (the whole red pill concept).
I'm going to go ahead and tweet #JusticeForBreonnaTaylor so this can start trending again and the pressure will stay on officials to arrest her murderers.
You are NOT A BURDEN if you are sad often. You are NOT A BURDEN if you are living with constant anxiety. You are NOT A BURDEN if you need a lot of reassurances. You are NOT A BURDEN if you reach out for help. You are NOT AN BURDEN if you are fighting with your negative thoughts.
