@FreyaMariaO I'm the same and so is my husband. We enjoy teaching AND we have a life. It is possible. Just a shame that our family and friends can't come with us! Ha
@mrs_denglish I teach R&J because I love it! There's lots of fighting for the Ss who like that, romance for the ones who like that, and having controlling parents that some Ss can relate to. We do it for coursework for IGCSE though. If Ss had to do it in an exam, I'd choose Macbeth.
Thank you to @mr_englishteach for sharing some insights into his new book last night. I'll be adding some of his advice to my repertoire and looking out for his book, if we ever get back to the UK 🤞🙏
Thank for sharing this pamphlet @Xris32@BarbaraBleiman this is how I've always felt about the teaching of English - more discussion and less PEE/KOs. https://t.co/YLZenhxd3q
@FreyaMariaO Ha ha I can't stand it, but I've used it twice this year as a 'treat' at the end of the year for Y11s and 10s. They just love it. I've made students create them in the past, then we test and rate them. That soon puts them off.
