@silverlock I seem to remember it was quite a high profile release. I can't remember why. I bought it from Forbidden Planet, London. May still have it somewhere. I don't think the follow ups were quite as good.
@JoshPhillipsPhD Ohhh. There is some barmy stuff written on Twitter but there are limits. Please, consider deletion. You have crossed the line here.
I loaned one once. The therapist cost me a fortune. He never returned it and it is now worth £300, which just makes it worse.
@silverlock I was that close to being the editor of the first edition from Sophisticated Games where I worked at the time. It was, and still is, a remarkable piece of work.
@SohSak@sikkoukakari I love this game. It needs a second edition that is tweaked and tuned. But the basics are impressive.
One of the few deck builders I will play.
@CharlesVasey@OfficeDogGames Interesting. I had a moment last night when I thought "too many rules to remember now", but my opponent shouted at me to reassure me, so I pressed on.
Lord of the Rings Trick Taking: The Two Towers (2p 3h). We finished the game tonight after five sessions. While it has some difficult scenarios, it remains a superbly designed, innovative and challenging game. Can't wait for the final chapter.
A modern gem.
