My fall 2020 #edtech course will be taught remotely for the first time this term. Transitioning traditional classroom hands-on activities to a #remote format will be an exciting challenge. The importance of #DigitalLiteracy and #lifelonglearning skills cannot be overstated.

Doing literature review on #TheFutureofWork and #TheFutureofLearning -- #Multidisciplinary curriculum will become incredibly important for new #AI and #MachineLearning industries.
Examples could include #DataScience in #FineArts, and Economics and Psychology in #Nanography.

In #Edtech class, pre-service students discussed their hopes and dreams for #GenerationAlpha for whom they will someday serve as classroom #teachers: "May tomorrow's students continue to seek the 'why' along with the 'how-to' in the technology-filled world they will inherit."

The next challenge: Design an online 3-course #MBA concentration in #designthinking and #innovation in business strategy -- add collaborative technology-based learning activities; splice in #fashiondesign and #stagedesign metaphors, mix with #datastorytelling...and gently stir.

Pre-Service #edtech class will: Utilize #SAMR model framework to redesign a PBL lesson plan: 'young children will learn about ocean pollution and develop ideas to save oceans in a creative report using digital tech tools to 'interview' some undersea creatures.' #designthinking
