No sleep, little sleep, hours spent trying to get a child to sleep, a meltdown over the wrong cereal bowl, school clothes that feel wrong and can't be worn, you see a autistic child is different to the child that sleeps 8 or 10 hours that tries different food, that will dress in the school clothes, that have the labels and those irritating seams that doesn't mind the change of cereal bowl or the cereal or the tablecloth and i could go on and on, what you see what your focusing on is that they are late what you don't see is,what goes on behind the scenes and just how bloody hard a parent works, stop judging, start helping .
@AshCurryOcd Sertraline for 8 years, just steadily coming off it now. It’s enabled me to live a life. Yes, emotionally a little stunted but otherwise it did what I needed. Now in a place to reduce. All good. 👍🏼

Heartbreaking scenes. We do not want to see fighting on our own home soil today of all days. 😞 We have done our fighting, we have seen enough. We do not need your protection, we just want to be left alone to remember. You are undoing everything, please go home 🙏@TRobinsonNewEra this isn’t helping.
In the absence of any adults in the room, so glad to see Israeli and Palestinian mothers make this important stand. Great to see diplomats and politicians join them.
My daughter Evie is 4 years old and waiting for an urgent heart transplant at the Freeman Hospital. She needs a family to make the choice to give the gift of life. It is organ donation awareness week in the UK so please take 2 minutes to RT/Like this to
spread the message 🫀🫁🙏🏻

What a fabulous breakdown of the DfE Reading Framework. I love how reading is such a priority and a love of reading is to be promoted so well. @s_tate73@whatSFSaid@Therabbits21 @emcarrollauthor @JennyMcLachlan1 @DarrenSimpson44 @KarlDuke8 @anna_terreros @MrEagletonIan
@ASMU_Sendplight We are grandparents and have just looked our our autistic granddaughter, who is 4, for a couple of nights so her parents could have a little break. We both work full time but help where we can. She’s hard work but we love her to bits 😊
A fantastic article. I agree with every single word.
'Many children have internalised the mistaken idea that good mental health means feeling good all the time. But discomfort is not a problem to be solved, it is a necessary part of life we must all learn to willingly endure.'
