Everyone in Greenville just clapped at once, actually it was Parker Kanupp blazing heaters on the corners at 87 for Top Prospect Baseball 2020! #TheBestPlayHere#Blackbear
Knowing your students and knowing where they come from and their day to day life at home creates an understanding which in return helps the teacher to “handle” and manage the classroom effectively.
“Your student isn’t giving you a hard time, they are having a hard time.” thank you @smemelissa for sharing this quote with us. Class management is something that you cannot learn in a classroom but learn from experience.
I think that teachers get personal days to use as they please. If teachers were told how or how not to use personal days is it really a personal day? #Personaldays#edel339
If teachers are using a personal day, is there really anything that can be done about it? Protesting and standing up for what is right is what we preach to our students. However, does the same not apply to teachers? I’m curious to hear other opinions on this matter.

R5: The most important question I think I personally think I could ask is "How long did it take you to fully get a hold on your class management?"

R4: I think I will look into location, along with how the teachers interact with each other. I want the school to be culturally diverse and there to be an abundance of administration help.

R3: The most challenging part of being a new teacher I think will be classroom management and juggling the kids and all aspects of the day at one time. #edel339twitterchat
ALWAYS! Teaching isn’t easy, we are not just teachers but we wear a lot of different hats throughout the day. My kids day end and out struggle and fight personal battles and all I can hope is that they keep battling and one day grow up into successful adults.
This is a great video that kids will love to watch that shows from another child perspective how to be kind and things you can do and say to make others smile!
#EDEL339 in my classes and at my host school we have been talking a lot about encouraging and kind words, as well as when to tell an adult. I found these posters and I love them! Especially the emojis, it is important to say kind and encouraging words! What a great reminder
Being with 25, 3rd graders all day is so fulfilling, the fact that I can say that gives me reassurance that I can and will become a great teacher one day! 🍎 #EDEL339
