Why am I only just now discovering Chemix?! What an amazing platform, & mostly free! Easy & quick to use with fabulous results!
A must for all science teachers.
This took me all of 10 mins this afternoon 😁

Inspired by @Chaz30538440 we used Vitamin C tablets to add the carbonation instead. #jcscience
🎉Huge congrats to my brilliant colleagues @conorjeivers & Barbara Kelly @templecarrigGS on the publication of their groundbreaking textbook for TY 📚Your dedication to #Science is inspiring. Here’s to sparking curiosity and shaping future inquiring minds 🚀 @SchoolofEdUCD
TY #science students were busy balancing chemical equations using jelly beans this week. I find this helps them visualise the chemical equation and understand the Law of Conservation of Mass. The level of engagement really improves when using sweets too!

Great work by the S4 Chemists today, consolidating their knowledge of formula writing and calculating reaction quantities using the m/n/gfm triangle 🔺️🧮✍️
Embedding Learning Intentions/Success Criteria in our instructional practises through OneNote is one of the initiatives identified through SSE. In its infancy but student and teacher feedback so far is very encouraging. Links well with Digital Learning Strategy
