@damienwlr The Society of Actuaries produced a paper on 'Understanding the gender gap at the highest performance level in LC HL Maths'. A working group of secondary school teachers is now drafting an alternative HL LC maths exam that's fairer to both genders. What does she think of this?

@damienwlr A student who gets 40% in LC HL maths gets 46 pts+ 25 bonus = 71pts. A student who gets 39 + 5/6 % gets 37 points and no bonus. So for 1/6 th of a percent more, the student gets 92% extra points. This is completely unfair. Surely the bonus marks should be more graduated?
