Apirat Kongsompong, former army chief and a close aide of Vajiralongkorn, has been sentenced to 30 days of punishment for alleged disciplinary offences and failure to show reverence towards the king. He’ll probably be sent to the punishment camp at Thaweewattana Palace.

This may be connected to negotiations over Thaksin Shinawatra’s return to Thailand.
