It's important to teach our students history from a variety of perspectives. It pushes our students to think critically about how bias may affect textbooks or historical accounts, and teaches them to question sources and dig deeper to obtain a fuller, more truthful account.

@teacher2teacher Aside from promoting diversity, I hear many of my colleagues saying that they wish admin would support them by providing better PD on school tech. Many Ts are required to incorporate devices/apps that they haven't been properly trained in, which doesn't best serve Ts or their Ss.

@teacher2teacher I hope to work under admin that's open-minded & accepting. As part of the LGBTQ+ community, I want to know that my admin will support diversity & stand by me even if parents don't. I've heard of valued Ts being fired simply bc Ps disagree w their "lifestyle," which is concerning.
