At the same time, we have to be open safely. I too want to see all my children back in school but until it is safe to do so we have to do what we can virtually. The learning that we're doing now is better than no learning at all. I'm hopeful that things will get better next year.
Research shows that closing schools would have a negative impact on children and young people’s mental health and development. We are prioritising their education and wellbeing by keeping schools open. https://t.co/ymX7wk31GE
I ended my internship today and posted a goodbye video to my kids. This is a response I got. THIS is why I choose to teach. I'm not crying, it's just the allergies. @DrTchr @mannebaker @nacarnes

Always be reflective and willing to grow! Never let a mistake be the end of you! Also, always work on building your relationships with your students. Nothing else will fall into place without that! @DrTchr
I think the most positive thing we can take from this experience as educators is how quickly and easily we have been able to work together to make sure our students are taken care of physically and educationally. @DrTchr
@DrTchr#EDML2020 Had a wonderful time at the USC Teacher Recruitment Fair! So glad that there was such a big turnout. It was very refreshing to know there are so many schools looking for schools who would be the best fit for their students.
Whst mattered most tonight is to make your resume unique! It should be a snapshot of who you are as an individual and what makes you stand out from the crowd. @DrTchr#EDML2020
This week I learned to always be receptive to feedback so I can grow professionally and how to stay on top of keeping my certification active. @DrTchr@R2Recruits @EDML2020
Last week I learned that there are a lot of resources offered by TIP that will help me make my first years teaching successful and to always think outside the box and be creative. @DrTchr @EDML2020
Had a great time with @mannebaker and friends last night at our educational dinner dialogue. I learned a lot from my peers and will take this knowledge with me into my internship and eventually my own classroom! Looking forward to more experiences with you all. #EDML573
What mattered most to me this semester was learning about all the resources and methods I need to individualize my instruction and be sensitive to student's individual needs.
“You never know what’s going on outside your door until you start looking.” -Dr. Goodman. The diversity of students we can teach is sometimes so baffling, we have to make sure to keep our eyes and our minds open. #EDML2020#EDML573
My biggest challenge in internship is managing my time during class. Part of this struggle is monitoring how much I talk, and part of it is being so engaged with the students that I simply lose track of time. @DrTchr#EDML2020#EDTE522
We live in a technological age. To prepare students for the world, they need to be familiar with using technology. How do we as teachers ensure students have these skills if teachers lack the resources or knowledge themselves? @DrTchr#EDTE522
