Whereas Villa and Newcastle spent almost 100% of revenue on wages/fees, Spurs scrimped & developed infrastructure. Both teams could have done the same, but prioritised instant success. @lollyvjohnson Farage didn't deliver Brexit alone, but he was one of its architects. He spent decades campaigning to leave the EU, pushed the issue into the mainstream, pressured the Conservatives into holding a referendum, and helped shape public opinion with what we now know were blatant lies
