Our team (Gerd Meyer, Thomas Albrecht (@TEAS_Actinides) and Robin Rogers) managed to land a 60 Mio. DKK grant from @novonordiskfond to look into molten salts for energy a sustainable, safe and stable energy supply:

Not everyday you get to see this. Ra-226 is not too bad, its daughters make me wanna cry. #sblockrocks Photocred: @jp_brannon group kicking ass cred: team @TEAS_Actinides
@ccelisbarros @TEAS_Actinides Bing ai for the graphic (it took a couple of tries and prompts for something that looked decent) + canva website for the banner and curved text, then an image enhancer so it wasn’t blurry for uploading 🖤
Congratulations to my favorite woman in actinide chemistry Suzanne Bart 🖤 @TheBartLab your continued mentorship to me means the world to me and this is well deserved! Ilysm
So cool to see this paper from the recently graduated Dr. Bai on #InternationalWomensDay How many scientists do you know who can publish 3 transuranic complexes in 1 awesome JACS paper?!
Happy #InternationalWomensDay to past, present and future women in STEM around the world! By excelling in your field and supporting other women and girls aspiring to be scientists and engineers, you #InspireInclusion!
Come read our latest radiation chemistry study on the dichlorine and sulfate radical kinetics in the presence of californium!

5 years ago today with the help of many, I isolated the californium mellitate xmas tree. Still definitely a top 3 crystal I have ever seen especially due to the timing of the year. It alone was so radioactive it damaged the glass slide it was on.
