Last month we joined 22 other Arkansas counties in a digital library consortium that tripled the collection for my patrons. Borrowing more than doubled from last month and almost tripled over last September. #librariestransform

I love that I can walk into a waiting room full of theatre parents and ask, “Where can I buy black leggings for my 11 year old son with a tiny waist & no rear end?” And they all respond in unison, “Wal-Mart, $3.98. Girls’ section.”

It’s like it’s been set up to fail. 4500 Arkansans losing access to healthcare b/c the state website doesn’t function well & poor, rural Arkansans have no or limited internet access.
