@dr_s_bertrand A2. The best way to incorporate social studies and literacy is through children’s lit. I think with the literature that is being created today creates such an uplifting and inclusive dialogue that gives the teacher the opportunity to address these topics. (1/2)

This allowed the students to learn about the language as well as the differences. Definitely something that I think will be beneficial in my future teaching #TeacherEduMatters

From my classes I have seen the importance of teaching students to embrace their dialect just know what situations proper grammar is expected #TeacherEduMatters

@DrPorcher A1: From my personal education, I am realizing how much my education followed the textbook. I remember doing outside activities to engage us, outside of what the textbook recommended, but the ideas which were taught all came from the textbook. #TeacherEdMatters #TCHEdbirds
