The enemy would love for you to go through life condemned, wearing all these negative labels: doubter, compromiser, addicted, failed, unworthy. Do yourself a favor, remove those labels and put on what God says about you: redeemed, forgiven, blessed, prosperous, qualified, victorious.
When you start declaring His promises, when you start speaking what He says about you. Not only is faith going to rise in your heart, but it’s going to change your perspective.
Don't have a weak, defeated mentality. “I can’t handle this. It’s too much.” Have a new perspective. “Yes, I’m hurting, but still I rise. Yes, it looks bad, but still I believe. Yes, I’m outnumbered, but still I trust. Still I move forward. Still I dream. Still I expect the goodness of God.”
You went to God with your request. Now add the thanksgiving. Believe that it’s already done. No more begging God for the same thing. “Father, thank You that I am free. Thank You that I’m whole. Thank You that the power in me is greater than what’s trying to stop me.”
When you prayed in faith, according to God’s will, He put that promise in motion. He already set the time to bring it to pass. You may not see any sign of it, nothing looks like it’s changing, but God is working behind the scenes.
Your attitude should be, “I’m in it for the long haul. I will not give up. I will not let doubt, people, time, circumstances, bad breaks, talk me out of what God put in my heart.” You have to have a made-up mind.
A job feeds you,
Skills elevate you,
Savings rescue you,
Investments liberate you.
Don't just save money, invest in cash flow assets like stocks, bonds, unit trusts, real estate, etc.
I’m doing a thread of missing people from yesterday’s protests. @JamesKWaNjeri for easy trackability

MONEY LESSONS FOR THE AGE 25 - 35 SEASON 🧵🧵
The age bracket 25 - 35 is arguably the most financially sensitive season of your life. Not because you’ll be making millions, you probably won’t.
But because every habit you form, and every decision you make now will either work for you or haunt you in 10 years......
There will always be people who will try to discourage you and tell you how it’s not going to work out. Tune all that out. Don’t let people talk you out of what God put in your heart. They didn’t hear what you heard. Don’t expect them to understand.
Paul said in Philippians 4, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, giving thanks to God, let your request be made known.” Instead of worrying, pray and ask God to help you. Talk to God about everything that concerns you.
This is a new day. You’re stepping into a new grace. The Spirit of God is coming on you in a greater way. This is a destiny moment. The Scripture says, “Today, when you hear His voice, do not turn away.”
Do your best because you love God, not to get Him to love you. He already loves you as much as He ever will, and His love for you is perfect. #JoyceQuote
God’s not holding the past against you. He’s not upset because you ignored Him; He’s not turned off because you didn’t believe. His love is unconditional. He’s waiting for you. His arms are opened wide.
The Scripture says God wants to give you beauty for ashes (Isaiah 61:3), but you can’t receive the beauty if you don’t give God your ashes. Give God your hurts and pains, and then receive the beauty He has in store for you.
Don’t be cheap when investing in yourself.
Spend your money on:
• experiences
• traveling
• learning
• health
• books
Don't neglect your self-care.
The best investment is always yourself.
My investing preferences. What are yours?
1. I prefer bonds to real estate for passive income
2. Save in a Money Market Fund over a savings/fixed deposit account
3. Invest in cash generating assets over idle/dead assets
4. Invest a portion of my money in offshore ETF that tracks the S&P 500
5. Invest a portion of my money in Bitcoin
6. Use Life insurance for wealth protection, estate planning and wealth transfer
Nobody is born determined.
You choose to be determined, disciplined, and persistent.
You choose to learn, listen, and grow.
Same applies to wealth creation.
You choose how far you wish to go in asset accumulation.
You can only blame your humble origins up to a certain age.
Stop whining.
You’re not going to die. And the worst part is, you’re not even afraid of dying.
You’re not doing what you know you need to do because you’re afraid of a bad feeling.
Get over it.
