Serious innovation going on improving calf transport trucks. This model allows ad-lib feeding of water/electrolytes or 2litre of milk if necessary. Crucial that new regulations are practical to ensure the live export of calves can continue. Credit to @calfcompany for service to all farmers.

Some local weather stations in Cork have now recorded 115mm in 24 hours which is a months rain in one day and more heavy rain will continue into this evening before easing off.

Areas between Cork City and Waterford are expected to see the heaviest rainfall today with Youghal, Killeagh and Midtleton in for some of the worst of it.

Looking at beautiful Bannow Bay, it is hard to believe that only a kilometre away, a years work, and a crop of barley lies destroyed. 2023 is a year this group will never forget. If @McConalogue can't support these farmers, what can he do?
