I disagree with this framing. It is ok to grieve specific deaths and tragedies definitely on the anniversary. If you want to also highlight the suffering of the Palestinians go ahead and do so. I would speak to both but let everyone grieve the dead how they wish.

Here are FIVE reasons for supporting @AbdulElSayed for Senator without mentioning Trump or Mike Rogers:

1.) He is one of the foremost experts on universal healthcare and will fight for Medicare for all in America, providing quality healthcare to all Americans.

2.) He understands the importance and power of organized labor and will be a vote for the PRO Act, strengthening unions and workers rights.

3.) Housing is at the forefront of the affordability crisis, and he supports zoning reform, mixed use development, and tenants rights to ensure that the housing that is built will be affordable and abundant.

4.) Abdul will protect Michigan’s world class berry and cherry producers by redirecting corporate farm subsidies to our struggling Michigan cherry and berry farmers.

5.) Our Great Lakes are precious natural resources and Abdul vows to co-sign bills which empower the EPA to crack down on corporate polluters and corporations like Nestle and google who suck up our water, as well as to replace all of our outdated lead pipes with pipes that will guarantee all Michiganders safe drinking water.

If you agree with all or most of these proposals, I think the choice is clear. Let’s make Dr. Abdul El-Sayed Michigan’s next senator!
