@SERobinsonJr * In select areas.
Just checked here in a Dallas suburb. Only Max service available, $120/month. No discount. $350 hardware cost. $500 "demand surcharge". Would love starlink but not at that price.
@phoronix@ubuntu Neat. This was one thing I was missing from back in my Gentoo days; the ability to compile versions taking advantage of modern HW. I'm giving it a try now.
@WatchJRGo1198 I stopped watching the late shows after Leno left. They all became political. As someone not all that interested in politics I got bored.
@WatchJRGo1198 I have owned an E46 M3 and currently own a 2013 Tesla S P85+. Yes, the early base 85 drove like a wet noodle. The P85 was quick but handling was not great. But the P85+... that's a different animal. Maybe not quite E46 M3, but not far from it. If you get the chance, try a P85+.
@rookisaacman Excellent post and I'm so sad you're not the head of NASA. You're by far the most qualified and you would have changed NASA for the better.
@GamersNexus WTF does Bloomberg have to do with a video done entirely by GN. In a way I'm glad they're messing with you because I know you can fight back. I dislike our litigious society, but I hope you sue them into oblivion. Anyway, Backer T-shirt ordered!
@JoeTegtmeyer@robotaxi@Tesla Good that they have a working process but 10 days is a little short. A common use case for robotaxi will be to go to the airport so many will be away for a few weeks before they have a chance to pick it up.
@TechYESCity Hoping it's not the final Linux video. I've been using Linux forever. I have a Windows virtual machine mainly for one application (it uses an USB port which Wine can't do) and find it painful to use. The idea of downloading a random SETUP.EXE from some website gives me chills.
@EricTheCarGuy@Wingless92 Easier is to just go to 4th and then reverse. I put a Tremec TKO in my '71 Vette over 20 years ago and that's how I've always done it.
