@late_drinkers IMO 90D is the lowest level to enter the DSLR or mirrorless game. But if you can afford it, skip that and gets mirrorless instead (R6). Use your phone & filmic pro app until you can.

@the_tammy_kay Depends on your plan. Umbrella throws light everywhere, soft box is more directional for instance with a portrait

@audra__ortiz Mirrorless camera such as Canon R6, lights (Nanlite, Aputure. Neewer is possible but too low quality IMO), mics (Rode or Deity) and get them close as possible to the source, powerful laptop, editing software, davinci resolve (free), Gimp (free), or paid like Adobe CC suite. Go!🤞

@Hackett_Tech Mirrorless. Most cameras can produce fantastic results these days. It’s more about your skill than the camera. Also depends on your budget. Popular choices Sony A7S IV, Canon R5, R6 or R3.

Am I a fanboy? Maybe, but I find @AputureLighting have made the right products for me at the right price and always punched above their weight.

One reason I love them, is having one remote that controls all my lighting.
