Norm Asbjornson Hall is one of only 10 buildings in the state of Montana certified as LEED Platinum, the U.S. Green Building Council's highest certification.
“This building on occasion can generate more energy than it uses.
Someday I hope to return to MSU for a grand opening of a building that can do that 100% of the time. I’m confident that Bobcat engineers and architects can do that,” said College of Engineering Dean Brett Gunnink
“And, this all began with the vision and generosity of a true Bobcat. Please join me in watching this salute to our friend, Norm Asbjornson,” said MSU’s President Waded Cruzado.
A grand opening ceremony for #MontanaState's newest building, Norm Asbjornson Hall, will be held Friday, Dec. 14.
The free and public event starts at 10 a.m. and will take place at the building, which is located on the southwest corner of Seventh Avenue and Grant Street.
Two years ago, we took this photo of Asbjornson Hall. Tomorrow we cut the ribbon on MSU’s newest addition to campus! This $50 million building will offer some amazing new spaces for our students, and we can’t wait to show you them! #montanastate#throwbackthursday#asbjornonhall
