@plk669888 It’s linen, making it form fitting defeats the purpose and causes unnecessary wrinkles. It is an American cut of suit. The philosophy of its design emphasizes comfort and practicality over the rigidity of English suiting or the fitted look of mod. Italian cuts.

@BLASTorBLESS Yes, sadly Aamerican Woolen Co. is one of only 4 operational wool mills in the USA and the only one left in New England. That said, it still puts out high quality fabrics that are a fraction of the price of their Italian and English competitors.

Just got back from a trip to American Woolen Co. in Stafford Springs, CT. I drove up there to pick up fabric for a client. It is always nice to visit a quiet little New England town, particularly one where the mill that supported it since 1853 is still humming right off of Main.
