Just finished rewriting the overview for a weekly picturebook assembly which focuses on empathy, inclusion and diversity. It's still a work in progress but please feel free to use and adapt. All shares appreciated. The link is on my Padlet: https://t.co/JBuWKFDAhP
@DeputyGrocott We have seen more children reading for pleasure through introducing more rewards for reading such as celebrating 'star readers' in assembly, children sharing monthly reading projects to recommend books to peers and reading tea parties for children completing reading challenges.
Big news! 2026 has officially been announced as the National Year of Reading by @bphillipsonMP.
