@RogersHistory @QueenBx @mralex451 A lot of replies come from folk who don't work in schools. We have 1800 pupils and 2x7 period days so kids will need to go. Kids are trashing toilets and spending 30mins away meeting friends. Also staff have to share toilets with kids which is gross but toilets aren't locked.

toilets are too far away to nip to in between periods. People underestimate how demeaning and morale sapping it is to have to share facilities with teenagers who don’t clean up after themselves. #teacherlife

Back to school and back to sharing toilets with pupils. Having to wipe someone else’s urine off the toilet seat is a ridiculously frequent occurrence for me. Since covid, all previously locked single toilets are now unlocked. Being pregnant I need the loo frequently and the staff

Feels like a good day to remind ourselves that MVP explores the whole scope of violence including verbal and emotional. The violence triangle/pyramid supports young people to understand that challenging words and attitudes matters. This is where the hard work begins!

This term I've tried different strategies to consolidate Higher learning. These include, team connect 4, dice revision game, mind-mapping, numerous 1-2-1 feedback sessions all complementing the ppt/booklet. Any other classroom activities recommended for #HigherRMPS? #edutwitter
