This is an underwater archeological and ecological preserve in North Port. Around 12,000–7,000 years ago, the sinkhole was an oasis that attracted seasonal hunters and gatherers.
We had a great day at the State Capitol advocating for historic preservation incentives today! We met with legislators including Representative Tracie Davis from District 13 to preservation issues' impact on communities throughout Florida.
