A7 - I believe there is so much more to teaching than can be taught in university or seen from the public viewpoint, this can lead to misconceptions as to what is expected of teachers. People realise this after teaching for a short while and either burnout or leave. #gpcsdlead

A7. Workload. Stress. Lack of Support. It can be hard to find balance between work and life. Burnout is real and I think is why so many people leave the profession, not only in the first few years but later in their career as well.
