During the Iranian Revolution, leftist students, communists, and Muslims were all united in overthrowing the Shah.
The leftists celebrated when Khomeini returned in 1979. They thought they had defeated capitalism and imperialism. It didnāt last long.
Over 30,000 leftists who helped the Islamic regime consolidate power were soon executed. That is where the term āuseful idiotā comes from.
They served their purpose and were no longer needed. Muslims had always despised their progressive ideals and couldnāt wait to get rid of them.
One of the women celebrating in the picture was killed, the other fled the country for her life.
Itās bizarre that almost 50 years later, Western leftists are making the exact same mistake and allying with Muslims. They will have the same fate.
š„ TRUMP JUST REPOSTED JFKāS MOST TERRIFYING SPEECH ā AND THE DEEP STATE IS PANICKING
JFK saw it coming. In 1961. And now, Trump has just made sure 300 million Americans see it, too.
The speech everyoneās talking about: Kennedyās address to the American Newspaper Publishers Association, April 27, 1961. The CIA had just botched the Bay of Pigs. Kennedy was livid. Heād been lied to by his own intelligence apparatus. And he walked onto that stage and said something no president has dared say since.
āWe are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence ā on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice.ā
Read that again. Monolithic. Ruthless. Conspiracy.
This wasnāt some fringe radio host. This was the sitting President of the United States, on live television, telling the American people that a shadow network of power ā operating through intelligence agencies, media complicity, and institutional capture ā was working against the republic itself.
And then he said the quiet part out loud:
āIts preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed.ā
Sound familiar?
Sixty-five years later, Trump drops this video on Truth Social. No commentary needed. The speech does all the work. And within hours, the same media outlets that spent four years calling Trump a conspiracy theorist are suddenly very quiet.
Hereās what they donāt want you to connect:
- Kennedy was assassinated 2.5 years after this speech
- The Warren Commission was a joke ā even the House Select Committee on Assassinations in 1979 concluded Kennedy was āprobably assassinated as a result of a conspiracyā
- The files are STILL classified
- Trump has been pushing to release them, but the permanent national security state refuses, instead slow-walking the order
The timing isnāt random. This isnāt just history. JFK described a permanent national security state that has only grown more entrenched ā one that operates beyond elections, beyond accountability, beyond the reach of voters.
Kennedy called it āa system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific, and political operations.ā
That machine didnāt disappear when he died. It got even stronger.
Trump reposting this isnāt nostalgia. Itās a signal. The same forces JFK warned about are the same forces that tried to destroy Trump ā Russiagate, two impeachments, lawfare, media blackout, assassination attempts. The playbook hasnāt changed. Only the names.
And now the sitting president just reminded the country who the real enemy has always been.
The speech that scared them then is the speech theyāre terrified youāll watch now.
Sharing this because theyāre counting on you not to watch it. Donāt let them win. šÆ
The crime they see: 15,415 litres of water to produce one kilogram of beef. Every campaign, every documentary, every leaflet through the door since about 2012.
The crime they do: not reading the paper.
The figure is real. It comes from Mekonnen and Hoekstra at the University of Twente, and it is careful, peer-reviewed work. What the campaigns strip out is that the same authors split that number into three parts, because the three parts are not the same thing at all.
Green water is rain. It falls on the grass. The cow eats the grass. For beef, green water is about 94 per cent of that headline.
Blue water is the stuff that matters. Rivers, lakes, aquifers. The stuff that gets pumped, metered, fought over in court, and does not come back.
So here is the blue water, in litres per kilogram, from the same authors, same method, same units.
- Pistachios: 7,602
- Almonds: 3,816
- Walnuts: 2,451
- Dates: 1,250
- Cashews: 921
- Beef: 550
Read that last line again, then go and look at what is in your granola.
The 15,415 counts rain that fell on a Welsh hillside as a cost, against an animal that was standing in it, on land where nothing else grows, in a country where rain is the one thing we have never once been short of.
The pistachio is drinking fourteen times more of the water that actually runs out.
She is outside in the rain right now, getting blamed for it.
@RobinLocksley01@r3tarddownunder For starters rapid immigrating puts pressure on housing and other living costs while not necessarily growing GDP per capita. I'm an immigrant and have lived all over the world and you see the same problems from over immigration putting pressure on the working class.
šŖšŗ Chat Control has passed š
They can and will now legally scan any person's messages, emails and photos you send without a warrant
The way they passed this law when the majority of the European Parliament was against it will shock you:
They waited until most EP members were on holiday so only a few were present and then created an "urgent" vote for it to pass it through
There's nothing democratic about any of it and big powerful forces are behind this that can manipulate the EU for whatever they want
Democracy in Europe died a bit today š
@nerdalert@elonmusk@dvorahfr I have a 29 yo German friend who didn't know you could charge telas at home. Everyone i know in Germany believes evs are worse for the environment than ice cars. It's not Tesla's responsibility to correct all this, but the basics of how great the cars are would be awesome.
Elon Musk just said the one thing about America they made sure youād never learn.
The one thing that shouldāve made you proud, not ashamed.
Musk: āAfter World War 2, the US could have basically taken over the world and any country. Like we got nukes, nobody else got nukes. We donāt even have to lose soldiers. Which country do you want?ā
One nation held a weapon no civilization had ever possessed.
Total monopoly on destruction. No rival. No consequence. No limit.
Every empire in history that held that kind of power did the only thing empires know how to do.
They took until there was nothing left to take.
America had a greater advantage than all of them combined.
And rebuilt the nations it just defeated.
Musk: āThe United States actually helped rebuild countries. So it helped rebuild Europe, it helped rebuild Japan. This is very unusual behavior, almost unprecedented.ā
Not almost unprecedented.
It had never happened. Not once in 5,000 years of recorded civilization.
The nation with the power to take everything chose to rebuild instead.
Enemies became allies. Rubble became economies. Surrender became partnership.
Germany went from ashes to the economic engine of Europe in a single generation.
Japan went from unconditional surrender to the third largest economy on earth.
Three years after the war, America was flying food into Berlin.
Into the capital of the country that just tried to end the free world.
That decision reshaped every economy, every alliance, and every trade route on the planet.
Billions of people lifted out of poverty over the next half century trace back to one moment. One nation choosing restraint over domination.
No other country in history can make that claim. Not one.
Musk: āThereās always like, well Americaās done bad things. Well of course Americaās done bad things, but one needs to look at the whole track record.ā
Every nation on earth has blood in its history.
But the measure of a nation was never its worst chapter.
Itās what it does when nobody can stop it.
When nobody could stop America, it fed its enemies and rebuilt their cities.
Youāre being told every day that this country is something to be ashamed of.
By people who have no idea what the world looks like without it.
Every free market. Every open border for trade. Every democracy that took root outside Europe stands in the shadow of that single decision.
The values that built this country didnāt just shape America.
They shaped the modern world.
AI is about to hand a small number of people a power advantage that makes nuclear monopoly look primitive.
1945 was the first test.
AI is the last.
That power is going to exist. The only question left is who holds it.
The most powerful thing America ever did wasnāt building the bomb.
It was having the power to take everything and choosing not to.
The people trying hardest to tear that story down have never built a single thing worth defending.
Dear America,Ā Ā
Starting today, on the 250th birthday of our country, millions of children will now benefit from a new & powerful American birthright - a privately owned investment account from birth. Every child a shareholder in the great American economy!
American capitalism is the greatest prosperity-creating engine the world has ever known. It has unlocked unprecedented abundance for our country and untold life-advancing innovation. From clean food & water to cars & planes to vaccines & cures to computers & phones.Ā Through depressions & world wars, through panics & pandemics, betting on America has been the best investment in human history.Ā
But far too many hardworking families feel like they are on the outside looking in - like the American Dream has become out of reach.Ā
The Invest America Act changes all that. Signed into law by President Trump it establishes the Trump Accounts - launching today - making every child a shareholder from birth.Ā Every account seeded with $1000 in America's best companies - making every child a direct participant in our stock markets & American capitalism.Ā Ā
But it doesnāt stop there.Ā Representing the best of our civic traditions, an unprecedented outpouring of additional privateĀ contributions into these accounts is already underway. Billions of dollars have been committed by philanthropists & corporations to tens of millions of children across the country. A new form of massive, direct philanthropy & corporate benefits directly to Americaās kids is just getting started. From adopting all the kids of a school or organization to a city or state.Ā America is the most giving country in the history of the world - and Trump Accounts provide a new open source platform to enable anybody to contribute to anybody.Ā Ā
Trillions of dollars will compound inĀ these accounts over the next 20 years.Ā Ā Ā
But this is about more than just figures on an account statement. By investing in the next generation, our country is providing tangible opportunities to all future generations of Americans: an education, a first home, the ability to start a business, and the foundation for a lifetime of savings. Trump Accounts provide hope to those feeling hopeless - unlocking unlimited human potential.
Trump Accounts do this through a massive public - private partnership that empower the individual not the state.Ā They double down on free market capitalist democracy by empowering the individual rather than growing dependency on government.Ā Aligning citizens with capitalism rather than pitting them against it.Ā
Perhaps of equal importance, let us not lose sight of the fact that this is a movement that unites our country. Despite the many issues that divide us, this one big idea brings everyone together. From the most conservative to the most progressive leaders, we have found people of goodwill willing to step up and do the right thing to help the next generation.Ā
Trump Accounts represent the very best of our democracy and the American promise issued two hundred and fifty years ago today. I am grateful to all those who have partnered with us to get this far and we dedicate our tireless efforts to make certain that the Invest America Act achieves its maximum potential.Ā Let us advance into the future with a renewed sense of confidence, optimism and restored faith in the American Dream for EVERY American.Ā Ā Ā
Happy 250th Birthday, America!

Cathie Wood just explained why the establishment will never stop coming for Elon Musk.
And the reason is worse than they think.
Wood: āTesla was an environmental move, which I think a lot of people attacking his cars⦠theyāve forgotten.ā
They didnāt forget. You donāt forget thirty years of marching and petitioning and begging for the machine that saves the planet.
Someone built it. Forced every automaker on Earth to follow.
Then they turned on him the moment he delivered exactly what they asked for.
Not because he failed them. Because he made them unnecessary.
A solved problem is an existential threat to every institution built to solve it. Kills the funding. Kills the committee. Kills every career that exists to manage the crisis rather than end it.
Wood: āI think heās the Thomas Edison of our age⦠he wants to do the right thing to transform the lot of most of humanity.ā
Edison was hated too. By the people who sold candles. Every revolution looks like an attack to the people it makes obsolete.
Wood: āWhat we learn about material science and technologies⦠is going to help us here on Earth as well.ā
SpaceX is not an escape. It is a forge. Build under the most brutal conditions in the solar system and every breakthrough comes home.
Most people at his level stop building and start protecting what they have.
Musk picks the hardest unsolved problem on Earth and runs straight at it.
That is not what terrifies them. What terrifies them is he does it without their funding, without their approval, without a single thing they can hold over his head.
A man you cannot buy is a man you cannot control. And a man you cannot control who keeps solving the problems you profit from is the most dangerous human alive.
They will spend their careers trying to tear him down.
Their grandchildren will live in the world he built anyway.
Here is what we know: U.S. taxpayer money, funneled through USAID and NIH, funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. That research likely caused the COVID pandemic that killed millions and cost trillions.
Dr. Fauci personally signed off on these experiments, then lied to Congress about it. Biden tried to protect him with a last-minute pardon. Thatās the very definition of a cover-up.
Todayās flood of Western media hit pieces and ridiculous commentary on Elon and SpaceX is yet another sign that the West is rotting from the inside.
EVEN the Chinese Communists treat their national champions with more respect than these pathetic hacks.
The CCP and its state mouthpieces arenāt half as deranged with envy. They may leash guys like Jack Ma and slap them down hard when they step out of line, but at least theyāre smart enough to understand that they need their best talent and innovators to deliver prosperity for their people, dominate global markets, project raw power across the planet, and forge their nation into a ruthless superpower. The Chinese see them as vital strategic national assets and would never publicly insult or attack the ambitious, high-achieving mindset that creates these winners in the first place.
SpaceX is, without a doubt, Americaās national champion.
Elon built the first reusable orbital rockets (Falcon 9), slashed launch costs, launched more missions in a single year than entire nations, revived American space dominance, sent NASA astronauts to the ISS aboard Crew Dragon, built the Starlink constellation that now beams high-speed internet to millions across the globe (including battlefields and disaster zones), and is developing Starship - the most powerful fully reusable rocket ever built, designed to make humanity an inter-planetary species.
Yet the Western press and Democratic officials are almost unanimously attacking the one man going above and beyond to secure prosperity, technological supremacy, and raw national strength for our civilization.
These people are vile soul-sucking wreckers who despise all excellence. The only thing they can produce is endless grievance and failure. All they know to do is tear down the successful, insult greatness, and wallow in their own mediocrity.
I had to read this three times before I could believe it was real.
Rotherham. A small town in northern England.
For sixteen years, at least 1,400 children ā some as young as eleven ā were raped, gang-raped, and trafficked between cities by organized groups of men.
Eleven years old.
Petrol was poured on them so they would stay quiet.
Their families were threatened with death.
Photos were taken and used as blackmail.
The police knew.
The council knew.
The social workers knew.
For sixteen years, not one of them moved.
Why?
Because officers were afraid of being called racist if they acted on what they were seeing.
That was the whole reason.
While children were being sold, adults were protecting their own reputations.
That is the moment something in you breaks.
And here is the part that makes it worse.
The TV networks did not report it. The papers did not chase it.
When the journalist Andrew Norfolk finally broke the story, even he thought maybe 150 girls had been hurt.
The real number was 1,400.
He was staggered.
This should have been the biggest story of the decade. It was not.
The networks looked away. The advertisers preferred safer topics.
The cover-up did not end when the report was published ā it continued in the silence of every newsroom that refused to chase it.
Then Elon Musk bought X.
The advertisers fled.
The press declared the platform finished.
X almost did not survive.
But it did.
And on X, the names of those towns started trending.
Rotherham.
Telford.
Rochdale.
Oldham.
Towns the country had been told to forget.
Britain understands itself differently today.
Not because the politicians confessed.
Not because the broadcasters apologized.
Because one platform refused to let it stay buried.
X almost did not survive.
1,400 children almost stayed forgotten.
That is worth saying out loud.
While Iām no fan of socialism or arbitrary confiscations of wealth, I can see why Bernie Sandersā proposal (for the government to take a 50% stake in AI companies) resonates, including with many on the right.
The CEOs of the leading AI labs have told us repeatedly that they will cause massive job loss. This is not a story that I believe, nor does the data bear it out, but this is what they have told us. Similarly, they have hyped the risks of AI without putting an equal or greater emphasis on the benefits or readily available mitigations.
Conservatives have another fear. The employees of the leading labs claim to be philanthropic, but what weāve seen is massive enrichment of NGOs advancing an agenda at odds with traditional values, fueling a revolution against our cities and communities. Soros-maxxing is not charity in our book.
Anthropic and OpenAI have established themselves as Public Benefit Corporations. What could be more in the public benefit than using half the wealth generated by these companies (which trained for free on the collective knowledge of humanity) to pay down the national debt? There is no ideological bias in that philanthropy.
Dario and Sam have begun to walk back their claims of massive job loss, but the damage to public trust is done, and now the chickens are coming home to roost. I could almost support the Sanders proposal as a stupidity tax.
Thereās just one problem. Nationalization of AI will accelerate the corporate-government fusion weāre already sliding toward. Conservatives rightly fear a Central Bank Digital Currency. They ought to be even more concerned about Central Government AI ā a system with even more totalistic power over information, decision-making, and human behavior.
We saw how social media was weaponized to censor conservatives (including President Trump) in the last Democrat administration. The definition of ātrust & safetyā expanded to mean protecting the public from supposed psychological harms, micro-aggressions, and disinformation (you know, like hearing conservative ideas or true facts about Covid).
That āsafetyā agenda as applied to AI will be vastly more powerful and Orwellian. AI wonāt just moderate posts; it will curate reality ā with the ability to rewrite history, enforce ideological conformity, influence policy at scale, mass surveil Americans, and condition the benefits of the many systems it controls on approved behavior.
America wonāt win the AI race if we beat China but end up with a CCP-style social credit system in the U.S. ā and that is the danger as the government becomes more deeply involved in AI development and assumes direct ownership and control.
Conservatives are right to fear where this is all headed but ought to think more carefully about how regulations they are flirting with now (that are widely celebrated among those with a long history of lust for Big Government) will be used against them the next time a Democrat administration is in power.
