Lately, I've seen so much negativity surrounding JJ... and I just wanted to share something from the bottom of my heart.
JJ often says that he doesn't let the hate get to him. He smiles, makes jokes and faces difficult moments with humor. Maybe that's his way of staying strong.
But no matter how brave someone appears on the outside, words can still leave a mark. None of us truly knows what someone carries in their heart and that's exactly why kindness matters.
Before leaving a hateful comment or blaming someone, please remember that JJ is not just an artist on your screen.
He's a human being with feelings, dreams, fears and people who love him. He deserves to be treated with the same respect and compassion that we would all hope to receive ourselves.
The same goes for the people working behind the scenes. None of us knows the full story or what happens privately. It's okay to have questions or different opinions, but spreading hate or demanding that someone be replaced without knowing the facts only creates more negativity.
As fans, we have a choice.
We can either add to the hate, or we can be a source of encouragement.
This October, I'll finally meet Net and JJ in Berlin. One of the moments included in my ticket is a one-minute talk with them... and I'm incredibly grateful for that opportunity.
I already know what I want to tell JJ:
"Please don't ever let anyone take away your smile or your laughter. They're part of what makes you so special and what brings happiness to so many people.
And always remember this: you are never alone. Besides Net, you have countless fans all over the world standing behind you, believing in you, supporting you, and loving you for who you are.
No matter how loud the negativity may seem, it will never be louder than the love of the people who genuinely care about you."
Let's be the kind of fandom that protects, supports, and lifts people up. Because behind every artist is simply a human being who deserves kindness.
