Tchou is a fantasy target and Onana isn't even linked to us.
As much as I rate both Matty F and Scott, the next two midfield additions need to be Baleba plus one of those two. Otherwise, we've failed the midfield rebuild.
I'm really disappointed Baleba isn't the main target.
@TheDevilsDNA For me profiling isn't just about ARCHETYPES (destroyer) but the RANGE (enabling) & POTENCY (insuring) in different game SITUATIONS
Ugarte scores low in both compared to his counterparts and wasn't worth the investment, otherwise we wouldn't need another 2 mids next summer
@Record_breake I honestly don't care that much. He's a good character with diverse traits but no game changer and not even worth 100m. People will wonder why City can't compete in the CL in coming years
Baleba + Camavinga/Matty/Scott/Camara is a much much much better investment.
Anderson brings what City lose without Bernardo — ball retention, passing volume and space coverage.
Baleba brings what United lose without Casemiro — defensive presence and long range distribution.

@Record_breake Yeah but he still wins +70% due to his great timing/leap/aggression. A tall 6 helps.
I'd buy Jacquet if he was 5 years older but no young CB pairing has ever won a major trophy (Hummels & Subotic came close)
Branthwaite up next when H/Licha/MDL leave if injury issues are fixed
@Record_breake I'm not dismissing his flaws but I also understand the value of a defender who consistently comes out on top in the toughest duels
I've misjudged plenty of players over the years, but never a CB. I spent most of my youth career playing there, so it's a position I trust my eye on

Sesko like Haaland can't win games on his own, he needs players with gravity that can give him the ball in behind/the box.
We need a LW that can singlehandedly force things and create for Sesko.
That's Leao, not Barcola/Gordon (top players).
While I'd have preferred Osimhen/Ekitike instead of Sesko and Semenyo instead of Cunha, the three new forwards added REAL quality to the attack. Even so, one piece remains: LW.
I expect the same in midfield this summer. The final piece, a tall No.6, likely arrives next year.
