If you were wondering why Trump is so damn interested in getting his hands on any uranium in Iran, even the "dust," here's one reason.

Once acquired, experts can undertake a process called nuclear forensic analysis (aka provenance determination), whereby it can be determined where the ore originated, and I don't mean in general.

They can confirm its origin not only down to the country (or general region) it came from, but also to the mine from which it was extracted.

Smart money is on their ore being confirmed to have come from a Uranium mine in Montana.

Now stop and consider the implications of that being true, if that's what's ultimately proven.

A middle school librarian brags about adding a book with sexual content to her school library. The book was once removed from the library but she describes how she brought it back.

After the presentation, I asked which book she was talking about. She told me it was the “Heartstopper” series, and even admitted that the fifth book is “especially explicit”.

Heartstopper is a wildly inappropriate graphic novel series containing radical queer ideology that talks about teen condom usage and has a heavy focus on trans and non-binary identity among minors.

This clip comes from a full hour-long session titled “Advocacy and Law for Librarians” where librarians were trained on how to push back against book removals and state bans. This session was at the Montana Federation of Public Employee’s 2025 Educator Conference.
