@MayorOfLA I applaud these efforts to find real solutions for our unhoused residents. However, the current plan being floated to replace the 90 Freeway with supposedly “affordable” housing (I’ve read 4000 units) and a strip “park” is deeply disturbing and misguided. Please kill this idea!

@paulinhouse @MayorOfLA This is beyond ignorant - we're learning that this is not only a respiratory disease. And while both infections and mortality increase with age, a high percentage are in the 18-59 age group. So there are no "low risk" groups (except, maybe, kids under 10) - only low-ER risk.

So in order to bring the rate down, more stringent restrictions are needed. As is obvious from this thread, people won't do things that impinge on their convenience.
