We have shown that NVC is not affected by hypercapnia, in the different vascular compartments and at the micro- and mesoscopic scale

Using a new pH sensor, we found that CO2 reaches the NVU within 2 sec ! And that GCaMP is a good reporter of acidosis (⚠️). But the dilation to CO2 lags acidosis by 3-4 sec
