📷 News release: Suspect arrested, charged for Nicollet Mall Station shooting in Minneapolis

A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection to a shooting at the METRO Blue Line Nicollet Mall Station in Minneapolis on Aug. 27.

Michael Anthony Brown Jr., 37, was taken into custody by Metro Transit Police officers on Wednesday. Brown was charged with second-degree assault by the Hennepin County Attorney's Office.

The victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg.

The investigation remains active and is ongoing.
