@litmpodcast Prior to NICE the local level decided if an approved drug/treatment could be prescribed (and paid for) by NHS. NICE was created to evaluate the cost/benefit of approved drugs/treatments. If recommended by NICE it must be available throughout the NHS. Key word is approved! #NWBO
