@j_zimms I love Mexico’s second-email standard (at least among the design- and food-adjacent people I mostly talk to) of ‘un abrazo’ but you can’t translate to English (‘a hug’?) and a white guy writing ‘un abrazo’ at the end of an email in English could not be more obnoxious. So: Best.

@longdrivesouth Meanwhile the jacarandas are out in Mexico City and the weather is such that I was wearing work boots and a wool sweater yesterday and saw someone across the street in shorts and a t-shirt and neither of us was being ridiculous, which I guess is heaven.
