Found this injured pigeon yesterday and took him to @wildbirdfund and he was treated with such respect and dignity and this is just to say the world should be more like this
Does anybody else feel that the pandemic was a much bigger break in society than we knew at the time, or that we can even see now? Like in 20-30 years it’s going to be clearly seen as a tipping point.
This president is openly calling for ethnic cleansing while sitting next to a genocidal war criminal. He’s perfectly fine cutting off working Americans from federal funds while the funding to the Israeli government continues flowing.
Anyone who would force someone go through this kind of trauma is a monster. (And the icing on the big ol' American cake is that she had to pay for said trauma since health insurance denied claims.)
I don't think I've ever cried so much working on a story.
Here is Deborah Dorbert, who was forced by @RonDeSantis to give birth to a baby she knew would die, in her own words:

Exciting news! Thanks to a $25k grant from @craignewmark Philanthropies and another from a special WBF friend, any donation this week is doubled up to $30k. Would anyone like to help us care for hundreds of migrating songbirds (and a purple gallinule💜)?

A pet is sometimes a starter child. Then the real human child arrives and the pet suffers. My postpartum loathing of Lucky made me wonder whether I might be a late-onset psychopath. https://t.co/4Wb560IBGW
My Delta flight was 2 hours late which was fine but then they boarded us and 20 minutes later they were deplaning us bc “oops we do not have a pilot” … which just feels like the first thing to check before boarding a plane
By the grace of god we have landed. Also I overheard a Delta employee last night blaming Air France which felt very American of us, blaming the French lol
Anyway I’ve had this little fledgling on my windowsill a couple weeks and it’s been so cute seeing Mom watch over her until she’s ready to go (one kid already flew off, this gal’s a late bloomer) 💜
Meet Max, surrendered by his family at age 12 💔 We just rescued him from a high-kill shelter. Max is looking for an amazing family who can come to New Jersey. He’s affectionate, full of love, and gets along well with dogs and cats.
