@nationalpost NOPE! Although earth has warmed by 1.1C since 1850, the peak temperatures during last four interglacial period ranged from 2.9 to 4.6C. There is evidence that CO2 and the sun are the main causes; however, an ice age is coming and we must adapt either way.
Climate change: Key UN finding widely misinterpreted, BBC article. According to the European ice core data, the minimum peak temperature of the last four interglacial periods was 2.8C. So, how can you say we can stop climate change at 1.5C.
@TrueNorthCentre@CandiceMalcolm They needed a holiday after the too-long pandemic. They’ll likely stop off in Paris on the way back, having visited London on the way there for business purposes, of course.
@moneywisecom This is nonsense. I stopped reading anything from McLeans magazine when they trashed my university years ago. Since then I’ve worked with engineers from Cambridge, MIT, UofT, UofS, UofM, UBC,UofC, etc. I did very well although I wasn’t the brightest student in@my class.
@CTVNews We are approaching the end of the current inter-glacial period, but the earth is still 1C below the average of the last four interglacial periods and 2C below the peak based on Vostok data.
@CBCSask I feel for the folks on long surgical waiting lists because the ICUs are filled with the un-vaccinate. But I can’t understand how un-vaccinated medical staff can work on health care. Didn’t they take an oath to do no harm.
@STR0 Objectively, it's got to be Rob Ray. He leads in strike outs, the toughest measure because it doesn't depend on the rest of the teams performance. It's just him!
@PTertzakian Even so, the world will warm by at least 1C naturally, which will cause serious fires and flooding, but CO2 will get the blame. The truth is in the Greenland, Vostok, and EPICA ice cores.
