@CarlF68 @HHSGov Yes, for many years people ate 2 larger meals with a modest snack between them just to tide by. Then eggs, whole milk and that single slice of bacon became “the enemy” and was replaced w/ Cheerios (processed carbs). Snacks became chips + candy over a piece of fruit and cheese.

@MarshaLooch @HHSGov Because it’s picked early to account for transport and time on the shelf prior to purchase whereas home grown you allow it to mature and consume quickly. This is why flash frozen items taste better. I’d rather have frozen strawberries picked during peak season any day.

@ReallyAmerican1 Suggestion to people to get healthier does not equal “don’t get sick” 😆 Healthy people naturally do not get sick as often and they also have less ailments in general that are caused by poor health habits. Habits such as smoking, being overweight, eating processed diet, etc.

@Anthony1122112 @shipwreckshow First, Follow the money with lobbying on who is fighting. Second, firsthand accounts from people who worked as grocery store cashiers (like myself) for a few years. My experience … I would say 80-85% abused the system and had carts like those shown. It was an uncanny amount.

Glad you aren’t like that, but these videos are eerily accurate.
