20/26 of DR Congo's players born outside of DR Congo. This isn't an editorial point, it's a fact. And the "diaspora" debate in Africa today is acute as it's ever been. FIFA funding nations to develop football but many FAs embezzling funds then relying on diaspora players.
Demis Hassabis is the most likely camp leader who can breach AI frontiers.
And that's not (just) because of high IQ, but because of his background in biology and neurology. Design imitates nature.
The Nobel is a confirmation of this.
The day AI starts predicting any marble run, that's the penultimate frontier.
After that, the ultimate one should be within reach. Just a matter of time.
I'm still not convinced though.
@futtbaal_fan_pb Another risk for PFC may be the talent identification, relationship and pull power for PFC's best youth players to Mohun Bagan via Panagiotis.
Even Indian govt's guidelines relating to issue of Passports in India/ Abroad says
-Passport is an identity & travel document
-Indian govt can issue passports to non nationals as well, according to passport act

@fni Nothing to do with football or sports if that is indeed the case.
The reverse question to ask MEA is can a foreigner hold an Indian passport? Answer is probably no.
The only argument for OCI / PIO players that may make some sense for me is that "everyone is doing this - by not doing this we're getting left behind ".
But even this doesn't hold much water for me. For the size and scale of India. Fifa should make better regulations on this.
Well said.
This is my latest pet peeve in #IndianFootball... The simping and fawning on OCI / PIO players that has ratcheted up to an insane level lately.
Indian Football fans when they find out a player named Ssghwpvkrschw playing in a major football tournament has 0.003% Indian ancestry in him (His grandparents ate Gulab Jamun when they visited India) -
