I CAN’T WAIT!

I am excited about the incredible changes we can expect in #Kigali over the next five years. With our visionary leadership, we know that what is planned will be implemented with dedication, and that accountability will be ensured.

Here are my top ten transformations we eagerly anticipate:

1. At Nyabugogo Bus Terminal, a state-of-the-art complex will replace the current bus stop, transforming it into a modern hub for travelers.

2. King Faysal and Masaka Hospitals will be renovated, with health services significantly improved to provide better care to more people.

3. The new Kigali Wholesale Market for fresh produce will be built in the special economic zone, boosting our local economy.

4. More suburbs will be transformed into model villages, complete with asphalt roads, street lighting, playgrounds, internet access, and other essential infrastructure.

5. Major roads connecting Kigali to the provinces will be widened, featuring dual carriageways to ease traffic flow.

6. By the end of this five-year presidential mandate, public transport will see dedicated bus lanes, faster travel times, and reduced waiting periods.

7. We can look forward to more universities and a generally improved education system, raising the bar for academic excellence.

8. With expanded water infrastructure, access to clean water will meet the growing needs of our population, significantly reducing the number of days some households go without water.

9. More eco-parks and sports facilities will be developed, promoting healthier lifestyles and relaxation.

10. I believe that Kigali will continue to be the cleanest city, with enhanced hygiene and sanitation at personal, community, and public levels.

I can’t wait to see how Kigali will have advanced in these next five years. Together, we will witness these projects and visions become reality, reinforcing our pride in our city and country.

Why President #PaulKagame received 99.15% of the vote

To outsiders, President Paul Kagame's 99.15% election victory might seem unbelievable. For us Rwandans, the real question is why it wasn't 100%, because that's how deeply we support him.

Here are ten heartfelt reasons why Kagame has our overwhelming support:

1. Ending the Genocide: Kagame led the brave forces that ended the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi. He brought peace and hope back to a shattered nation.

2. Promoting Unity and Justice: After liberating Rwanda, he did everything in his power to prevent revenge, fostering a spirit of justice and unity instead.

3. Healing and Support: Kagame spearheaded the healing process for Genocide Against the Tutsi survivors, offering them a renewed sense of life and a future. He encouraged resilience and hard work to honor those we lost.

4. Forgiving Perpetrators: Remarkably, Kagame forgave those who participated in and/or committed the Genocide Against the Tutsi, giving them a second chance to contribute to the country's progress.

5. Repatriating Refugees: He facilitated the massive return of Rwandans who had fled, restoring their rights and welcoming them back home.

6. Equal Opportunities for All Children: Kagame treated all children equally, providing education and opportunities regardless of their family backgrounds, erasing the divisions between Genocide Against the Tutsi survivors and perpetrators' families.

7. Empowering the Youth: He inspired the youth to take charge, harnessing their creativity and ambition to build our country. He provided them with opportunities and roles in high-level decision-making.

8. Championing Gender Equality: Kagame recognized the power of women and made gender equity a priority. He empowered women and fiercely fought against gender-based violence.

9. Remarkable Development: Under his steady leadership, Rwanda's development has been nothing short of astonishing. His achievements have left foreign powers in awe.

10. Trust and Recognition: We, Rwandans, recognize and deeply appreciate all the good Kagame has done for us. We see how some countries envy his efficiency and commitment to accountability. We know that with him, Rwanda is in safe hands, and we can achieve even more. This overwhelming support is reflected in our votes, nearly reaching 100%.

President Kagame's support isn't just about politics; it's about the profound impact he has had on our lives and our country's future. He always ensures to do what he has promised—imvugo ye ni yo ngiro—and we couldn’t ask for more.
