#Puntland has made significant investment in the federal government of Somalia & has endured hardships in many aspects of life to see a functioning #Somali state. Presidents Abdullahi Yusuf & Adde Muse took the initiative to return the seat of government to Mogadishu/Villa Somalia.
Presidents Sheikh Sharif & A. Faroole facilitated the largest constitutional agreements in the country's history after the civil war, #Garowe 1 /2.

It is painful to witness that the very institutions they helped establish are now being used against #Puntland & its people. These institutions are blocking essential infrastructure projects & hindering initiatives that are crucial for the livelihoods of the people. The youth, who represent the majority of the population, have not been spared from these hardships, as scholarships, teacher training & projects like #GPE & #Education_Cannot_Wait have also been obstructed.

Furthermore, it is tragic to see #Puntland's leadership seemingly oblivious to the challenges the region is facing today, closing doors & ignoring the calls from the elite & elders. I believe it is crucial to rethink a real strategy for survival against the threats confronting #Puntland today.

Without genuine internal debate that examines all issues & develops a new strategy to address these challenges, it will soon be too late to tackle them.

It is now or never.
