I was assigned the best Rapido captain in Chennai today while returning from my Skanda screening.

He's a movie lover and was returning from Chandramukhi 2 (which he said he didn't like at all). He asked me which film I had seen and was curious to know more about Skanda as he loved Akhanda. We discussed movies, his experience of watching RRR twice in 3D, how his friends would tease him for being a Vishal fan as a kid, why being an Ajith fan is tough, was curious about Telugu producers spending lavishly on fims, and SO MANY things for nearly 30 mins.

He also wants to direct a film someday but knows that it's a difficult path to trudge, so he is securing himself financially now. My takeaway: Simple people. Simple lives. And fascination for movies should keep us together.
