With profound grief and sorrow, we inform that our beloved Bhaiya, Shri Suraj M. N. Hegde, AICC Secretary for Tamil Nadu & Puducherry (TN & PY), Vice President of KPCC, and Vice-Chairman of the Karnataka State Guarantees Implementation Authority, passed away due to a cardiac arrest at approximately 11:00 PM on Sunday, 7th June 2026, at Ramaiah Hospital, Bengaluru.

Bhaiya Shri Suraj Hegde was a dedicated Congress leader, known for his tireless service to the party and the people. His untimely demise is an irreparable loss to the Indian National Congress and to public life.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and countless well-wishers. May the Almighty grant strength and courage to his loved ones during this difficult time, and may his noble soul rest in eternal peace.
